Our Partners
Partnerships are at the core of IOM X’s approach to developing impactful media content and relevant community-based activities for the prevention of human trafficking and promotion of safe migration.
Through all of its activities, IOM X aims to support and strengthen ongoing national and regional efforts to combat human trafficking. From governments to NGOs and migrant worker networks, IOM X forms collaborations to inform, implement, evaluate and disseminate content and resources.
Partnering with media and influencers helps IOM X to maximize the reach of its content and activities to best engage a broad and diverse audience. Through these partners, IOM X is able to both increase understanding of human trafficking and safe migration, as well as inspire individuals to take action.
In applying the principles of Communication for Development (C4D) to innovative projects, IOM X works with established technology partners to develop new solutions and resources that strengthen counter-trafficking efforts for both the counter-trafficking and migrant communities.
IOM X works with dynamic creative agencies to craft media content that is engaging and accessible using an evidence-based approach that takes into account the target audience’s knowledge, attitudes and current practices.
Across IOM X’s diverse partnerships, IOM X prioritizes engaging with and empowering young people between the ages of 15-35 as agents of change in their communities through both online and on the ground interactions. IOM X recognizes that young people are especially vulnerable to human trafficking and exploitation but also have incredible capacity to shift their own knowledge, attitudes and practices and influence those around them to help stop human trafficking and exploitation.
