Made was produced by IOM X, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the United States Agency for International Development’s (USAID) innovative campaign to encourage safe migration and public action to stop exploitation and human trafficking.

Manufacturing is one of many industries where exploitation occurs. According to the International Labour Organization (ILO), annual illegal profits in Asia from forced labour in manufacturing, construction and mining are estimated at US$13.4 billion.

Through the story of Made, created in partnership with Philippines-based production agency Indioboy, viewers can better understand what exploitation in manufacturing can look like and how their choices as consumers and employers can fight or fuel trafficking and exploitation.

Although the story is fiction, the facts are real. Make a difference by calling for transparency about how the clothes you love are made.
